Yesterday we came home safely. We were two days early. Why, you may ask? How can someone come home early from vacation? Well… I discovered, that Adrian and I just can’t take it easy icon wink Blank. We just can’t sit still when there’s still so much to explore. We just can’t put up our camping spot (which was in our new Jeep by the way…) at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. It just isn’t us icon wink Blank.

We had a wonderful time though. Lots of fun. Lots of giggles. Lots of laughs. Lots of exploring and lots of visiting new places. It was great and much needed.

But I don’t feel ready to jump in on daily life just yet. I feel…. blank. I wanted to post some sneak peek pictures of the trip this morning, but I couldn’t. No words wanted to come out of my keyboard. Nothing at all.

After catching up on my favorite TV Shows on Hulu (1 New Girl, 2 Army Wives (my top top faves!!!) and 1 Desperate Housewives) I still don’t have the energy to tackle the kitchen or sorting out dirty clothes or emailing people back or scrapbooking or doing anything at all.

I hope tomorrow will be better icon smile Blank. I’m positive.

After all that rambling (hope I didn’t bore you too much…) here some of my most favorite pictures of the trip! I tell you, we saw it ALL! From 96 F weather in Death Valley, to frozen condensation on the car windows…. yeah, we saw it all icon smile Blank.

I also wanted to post a few pages. I feel like I am not able to keep up lately as I have been working ahead so much in December and January. Yeah, because of our Yellowstone Trip. Which is not gonna happen this year… As we really wanted to see TONS of snow we are going to postpone this trip to (hopefully) next year and are doing something in California instead. We’re thinking exploring those really small and tiny country roads icon wink Big Old Update We’ll see!

It’s been kinda quiet on the swissgirlDesigns Blog lately, huh! Well, that is probably

  1. because I didn’t have anything real to share
  2. because I was a tad bit too busy with my Photography Business

Then I got a bunch of pictures I thought I could share with you today. I made them a little while ago, when Adrian and I drove around, scouting for some rad places to have photo sessions!! The Boys and I are extremely excited to announce the first ever swissgirlDesigns Design Team Call!! icon biggrin swissgirlDesigns DT Call! yay!! We are looking to put together a small DT of talented scrappers that would love to play with swissgirlDesigns Clear Stamps. If you love the stamps and want to share your talent with the world then we want to hear from you!!

The Design Team term will be from February to July 2012.

What’s in it for you:

  • Get all the newest stamp sets plus some of the older ones
  • Receive some of my favorite scrapbooking goodies icon wink swissgirlDesigns DT Call!
  • Your name plus link in the sidebar
  • Your headshot, name, link and short bio on a special DT page
  • Exposure from Blog, Facebook and Blog Hops

Requirements:

Now first off, when I design I love to have as much freedom in what I create as possible. So there will be no real limitations or requirements other than the amount per month and possibly a theme or topic for the Blog Hop – but other than that you are free to simply have fun with the stamps! icon smile swissgirlDesigns DT Call!

  • 2 Layouts and 1 Project (Layout, Card, Mini, Journal, Altered Item,…) OR 1 Tutorial / Full Mini Album plus 1 Layout or Project per month
  • Participation in Blog Hops
  • Social Networking (sharing your projects on your personal blog, online galleries, Pinterest and Facebook)
  • Social Sharing (sharing News and Updates from swissgirlDesigns Facebook)
  • And of course, meeting the deadlines

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Email us 3 recent project images that represent your best design style before midnight on January 18, 2012
  2. Image size should be 400 pixels wide. Please send images as attachments and not as links to galleries or blogs.
  3. Provide us with your full name, full address and phone number.
  4. If you have a blog we would love to check it out – so include the link!
  5. Please copy the following questions into your email and give us your answers.
