Update, Peeks and Photos
It’s been kinda quiet on the swissgirlDesigns Blog lately, huh! Well, that is probably
- because I didn’t have anything real to share
- because I was a tad bit too busy with my Photography Business
- because time goes by too quickly
So let’s start this off with a little Sneak Peek to a layout I designed yesterday 
It’s simple, but different from what I usually do, because I challenged myself to use circles as the main focus Fun Fun Fun!! (to challenge oneself I mean..)
Then I got a bunch of pictures I thought I could share with you today. I made them a little while ago, when Adrian and I drove around, scouting for some rad places to have photo sessions!! It didn’t really matter that Adrian didn’t cooperate too well with modeling – we had a blast anyways .
Above: I know I know, you can’t even make out his face in this picture… BUT for some weird reason it just looks so perfect…. I think it might be the contrast between soft and hard…
Other than that…. Did you guys see all the new Collections that are coming out this Winter at CHA??? OMG, I am so antsy and excited!! Can’t wait to play with the new stuff!! I started a Pinterest Board where I pin all my top faves… Have a look

swissgirlDesigns DT Call!
The Boys and I are extremely excited to announce the first ever swissgirlDesigns Design Team Call!! yay!! We are looking to put together a small DT of talented scrappers that would love to play with swissgirlDesigns Clear Stamps. If you love the stamps and want to share your talent with the world then we want to hear from you!!
The Design Team term will be from February to July 2012.
What’s in it for you:
- Get all the newest stamp sets plus some of the older ones
- Receive some of my favorite scrapbooking goodies
- Your name plus link in the sidebar
- Your headshot, name, link and short bio on a special DT page
- Exposure from Blog, Facebook and Blog Hops
Requirements:
Now first off, when I design I love to have as much freedom in what I create as possible. So there will be no real limitations or requirements other than the amount per month and possibly a theme or topic for the Blog Hop – but other than that you are free to simply have fun with the stamps!
- 2 Layouts and 1 Project (Layout, Card, Mini, Journal, Altered Item,…) OR 1 Tutorial / Full Mini Album plus 1 Layout or Project per month
- Participation in Blog Hops
- Social Networking (sharing your projects on your personal blog, online galleries, Pinterest and Facebook)
- Social Sharing (sharing News and Updates from swissgirlDesigns Facebook)
- And of course, meeting the deadlines
Submission Guidelines:
- Email us 3 recent project images that represent your best design style before midnight on January 18, 2012
- Image size should be 400 pixels wide. Please send images as attachments and not as links to galleries or blogs.
- Provide us with your full name, full address and phone number.
- If you have a blog we would love to check it out – so include the link!
- Please copy the following questions into your email and give us your answers.
- What is your favorite type of paper crafting? If layouts, what size?
- Have you ever worked in a Design Team before? (It’s not required!)
- Have you ever worked with swissgirlDesigns Clear Stamps?

Just an Update…
I’ve been super busy during the last few days (well, who isn’t busy the week before Christmas…?) I’ve made like a gazillion layouts and other projects since I have to work ahead as much as possible for the trip. More details on that in a sec. Here a sneak on one of the pages Gotta show you that new technique I came up with the other day, making REAL glitter splatters!!! A.MA.ZING! Soon soon.
Oh yeah, and yesterday I colored my hair once again I know, I look like 18 or so, but now I seriously look like 16 One good thing comes from that: when I’m 50 I (hopefully) won’t look like 50 ha!
And now to the trip….. We had to cancel our hotels in Jackson and Silver Gate, because there’s barely any snow up there right now (according to WeatherUnderground) so we are planning on leaving in the end of January. It’s a bummer, but there’s really no point in going without a ton of snow Soooo, we’re trying to be excited about Christmas once again and see what happens with the trip. Things like that show me how small we really are and how amazing it is to have a God that is so so so much bigger and stands over all our itty bitty problems

January Adventures & Layout
Today I have some crazy news to share with all of you. Nope, I’m not pregnant But it’s still suuuper exciting and I have been antsy for the last few days, since we’ve started to book hotels
We are going on a crazy Winter Road Trip, this January! We will be leaving on January 1st and will be driving up to Jackson, WY. Then after some discovering of Grand Teton and the bigger Jackson area we will be driving up north, through Yellowstone on the one and only open street to SIlver Gate where we will stay for another few days and hopefully see lots and lots of wildlife, including wolves
I hope the weather will work for us (and when I say that, I mean please let it snow!! And some sunshine to take pics of animals- pleeeease ) We already got warm socks, a pair of awesome winter boots for me, gloves, sweaters…. Even cool snowshoes (sponsored by my parents for Christmas )
It’s just SO exciting!

BUT NOW – change of topics
I made this layout for BlueMoonScrapbooking some time ago. I used my Silhouette SD to cut out some stars in various sizes – and I have been using them on a few more projects ever since By the way, I used my favorite Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, which is Suede. It is a beautiful brown color with GOLD!
