Crate Paper Layout

Yay, today I got to share a Crate Paper layout :) I used the brand new Peppermint line (and you probably all know already, that this is my all time favorite Christmas line… right?? ;) )

To give it that snuggle-feel I used lots of light layers behind the pictures of our 2010 Christmas tree. Chipboard pieces, tissue paper, fabric scraps, glassine bags and watered down acrylic paint splatters definitely help with that!

I can’t wait for Christmas to come this year! Seriously, I CAN’T WAIT!! I love the scents of hot apple juice with spices, candles, cookies and so on…. can’t wait ;)

First Picture: The new CP lines have this adorable boarder on the backside of each paper bottom! They make great great layers on a layout like this one :)

Second Picture: Yes, I am cheap ;) And this is how I make the most of my beautiful chipboard pieces ;)

Hope you feel inspired for some scrappin’ :D

Christmas Planner and Hello September!

Yay, summer is almost over :D I can’t wait for the colder season (and I bet I will be wishing it was warmer and sunnier once it starts to rain ;) sheeesh) I already got myself some really cute boots for fall and winter ;) They arrived yesterday and I already love them like crazy ;) I will post some pics later sometimes ;)

Did you already go over to Crate Paper today?? If not, you really should take a peek, cause they are having the best giveaway ever!! At least that’s what I think, cause the Peppermint line is my top favorite one this year for Christmas (plus lots of the paper go really well for any occasion, which is a big old bonus in my book ;) )

Also Christine posted my most recent mini, a Christmas Planner :D I made it for this upcoming season to keep all my plans and lists in one and only one place ;) (usually I have little notes and ideas and lists all over the place and forget half of them, cause I can’t find the notes anymore….. No fun at all!!)

The second last picture is a glassine bag, filled with gift tags. This will make my packing and labeling of pressies much much easier ;) heee The tags can be found on the backside of the ‘Present’ Peppermint paper:

Just cut out the ones you like and punch a hole and you are good to go :)

And did you see on the cover?? I gave Marcy Penner’s spray paint technique a try and I loved it!! ;) I had some black paint left from when my friend Andrea painted my horse on canvas :) It’s Montana 94 and reeeeeaaallly expensive (but really good) stuff!! (we’re talking 10 bucks a can ;)

Last but not least I wanna share two movies that I recently watched, that I really really recommend :)

1. Ballet Shoes with Emma Watson

2. Harrison’s Flowers with Adrien Brody

Hope you have a great day, and don’t forget the CP Giveaway :)
