Wildflowers (lots of pictures…)

Almost a week ago Adrian and I went down south to see some wildflowers – and I never showed any pictures……We drove about 7 hours on the first day, all over back roads and even some dirt roads and saw so so so much! I love back roads! No cars, wonderful nature, stop whenever you want AND we even saw two REAL cowboys!!! icon biggrin Wildflowers (lots of pictures...) hihi

It was just great to get out of the house, enjoy him and beautiful nature and soak up some much needed sun icon wink Wildflowers (lots of pictures...)

Weekend Sum-Up

Hey Girls!! icon smile Weekend Sum Up   Hope y’all had a great weekend!?

On Friday afternoon Adrian and I went to Monterey and Carmel, just to walk around and to realx a little bit. He has been working pretty darn hard over the last few weeks and it was great to give it a break and just enjoy wonderful California icon wink Weekend Sum Up

The next day we went up to San Jose and visited Santana Row, a wonderful shopping Avenue with lots of fancy shops and restaurants. About the best part of that trip was the visit at H&M!!! Me, as a Swiss girl, I am MISSING H&M and all my other favorite stores… But there I was able to find two cute tops and I am wearing them now all the time icon wink Weekend Sum Up heeheeeee

My camera was with me all the time, but somehow I never took a shot… So I would like to show you some pictures that I took on Thursday, when I visited the kittens, wait, “cats” icon wink Weekend Sum Up They are so big already, it’s crazy!! (so these are the brothers of Garfield)

When I’m blocked…

It happens to me all the time, my mojo goes on a holiday and I can sit in front of a layout for hours and nothing goes right. I get frustrated and am not good company for anybody, including myself icon wink When Im blocked...   Do you know that feeling…?? Well, I had that once again on Friday, since I was just sick and tired of scrapbooking, but really wanted to get that one layout done. Well, it didn’t get done. It was sitting on my super-dirty (mainly little scraps and loooots of dust) desk until today. To get myself into the right mood I have to clean up. At least I know already how to get my mojo back icon wink When Im blocked... (it just doesn’t like to live in a dirty house…… icon wink When Im blocked... ) heeheee So I cleanded the whole appartment (since it was really time to do that job…) and then after lunch I decided that my desk really needed to be cleaned too. It really felt good! It is such a quick thing to do, but after that I was sitting infront of that one layout and it just came to me! I was so surprised icon biggrin When Im blocked...

Another way to get myself into the right inspired mood is to take out my favorite papers or alpha stickers and just have that possibility right next to me. The funy thing is, that usually I am not even using those things icon wink When Im blocked... But they really inspire me icon wink When Im blocked... heeheeee

Fall

It’s so hard to believe, that it is November already! We still have 70 to 80°F around here and the AC is still running quiet a bit! Why can’t it start to rain? And to be cold? I love cold weather and I will miss my beloved snow and snowboard a lot this winter… But I guess that’s still a good price to be with my man icon smile Fall

Anyways, to get into that fallish/winterish/cozy mood I started to lit candles all the time. I got myself a couple nice glasses at a local thrift store, just for a few dollars, and every evening I am enjoying the gutter of my candles….

For Lunch I was cooking Paella! Yummy icon smile Unusual Visitor   And then the door opened and someone very unusual sneaked into our home with my dear husband: Garfield the Cat! icon biggrin Unusual Visitor   He belongs to my in-laws and he was one of four kittens that fell down a tree! Their eyes were still closed and since the mom cat wouldn’t want them anymore Adrian’s parents would feed them with the bottle. So cute!
