Fascination: Golden Gate Bridge

Happy Monday (evening) everyone Hope you had a great weekend!

Adrian was planning on booking a hotel in Napa for the two of us on Friday and he was all excited since it was a total surprise for me (he really likes to spoil me heeee lucky lucky meeeee ). Well, on Thursday night he told me about his great surprise and that it’s not gonna happen… All the places were either booked out already or extreeeeemly expensive! (I’m talking about a two star motel that has a rate of 200 per night!!!) So we decided to go on a short one-day road trip instead on Saturday. Here a few snapshots…. It’s hard to oversee my fascination with the Golden Gate Bridge heeeee

On Sunday I decided it was time to finally clean out Jynxy’s cage plus give him a much much MUCH needed bath! This little bugger loooves to sleep in his poop box… His fur gets all nasty and greasy and you can’t imagine the stink when he runs pass you (while comfortably cuddling on the couch….) yuck! Oh, and it gets even worse if he jumps right on top of you – you have to take a shower to get rid of his stinky foot prints heeeee

So here a few pictures on that as well He’s super cute when he gets a bath. He actually takes it quiet well (not that he’s enjoying it….)

Sweetheart cleans out the cage while Jynxy discovers the balcony (and I take pictures in between cleaning out the poop box and vacuuming the place )

All righy, I have to get ready now! Adrian came home and announced that we’re driving up to Los Gatos to give our top favorite Thai restaurant (Thai Spice on Santa Cruz Ave) a visit heeeee Can’t wait to stuff myself with that yummy food……

Busy Busy Busy

But it’s a ‘good’ kind of being busy! Working with the new CP collections, sniffing some sewing air, preparing classes (more about that later on..), adoring my new Cath Kidston Washi tape collections and waiting for the second one I ordered loooong ago, listening to Tennessee’ Hero which always makes me so sad… Maybe I should click the next song..? Naa, it’s such a pretty one See, busy busy busy!

Just wanted to share some pics with you – there’s not really any connection, but that’s okay for once

Here’s the first collection of my new tape! Man, the flowers are sooooooooooo pretty! I mean, I’m like using it on every single layout lately… dumdeedum..

One of my very favorite layouts! I used it for my Crate Paper introduction Love the faces we made… Yeah, we’re still big old kids – at least at heart, right honey?? heee

And I guess you’re all wondering what I meant with ‘preparing classes’ before? Weeeeell… I’m not gonna tell you all about it yet, but I have two classes which I’m soon gonna teach It’s a super exciting journey for me and I hope I will be able to share my passion for all things creative with you Can’t wait to reveal it!! But first: busy busy making them heeeheeeeee

Great! This weekend went by waaaay too fast! Even tough it was a long weekend it could have been much longer for my taste heeehee

What did we do..? Well.. Saturday was suuuper hot and Adrian worked in the morning and got a bit too many sunrays.. He didn’t feel too good so we basically spend the afternoon at the pool

Sunday was church, afterwards we stopped at some model homes. It was definitely not our pricerange (500’000 and up) but it was great to look at the houses and dream a little about the future I have to say tough, that I don’t like how they build houses these days! They pack in so many living room areas – and I would have no idea how to use all that ‘lost’ space…? I prefer some more kids rooms heee Or a reeeeally big master bedroom cheeesh… Anyways. Sunday afternoon we went to the pool again and my back got really tanned Then we took the long drive (off the main HWY’s) to Los Gatos where we went on a date together and had thai food

Monday was also cool. We finally met up with Amy Parker and her family for the first time! I was suuuuper nervous before hands…. But I’m glad we got together, I really really like her sweet little family Oh… and I can’t wait to hang out with her more often heeee

I made this layout a few weeks ago, celebrating a picture of lots of happy yellow envelopes, filled with swissgirlDesigns clear stamp love Looking at that picture I was thinking if I should maybe design another new collection! I know I know, just a few days ago I told you guys, that I might not do another one for the next months to come, but somehow I really like that kinda work and I looooove to share it with you swissgirlDesigns fans So hey, you never know, right? We’ll see, don’t have too high hopes, but… you never know
