Woodsy Pillow Cases
When I saw this idea on one of my daily walks in the big dark forest of the internet, I knew I had to make some of those cases myself!
It is actually very easy to make, but takes a few hours if you want to stencil as many trees as I did
You’ll need: Fabric Color (find at JoAnn’s or Michael’s), Stipple Brush, Pillow Case, Cardboard
1. Start out this project by drawing some simple trees on a piece of paper. Cut that out and use it as a pattern on cardboard, trace it and cut out as well. I preferred to use my exacto knife to get those sharp corners of the trees. However, I made only three different shapes – make more if you want a bigger variety.

2. Before you start to paint, lay a piece of cardboard or a bunch of newspaper in between the pillowcase! If you don’t do this you will end up having ugly paint stains on the backside of the case, since the paint likes to go through the fabric…
3. Place your stencils, squeeze out some paint on a plate and start stippling! Use enough paint and always stipple vertical so the edges get nice and crisp.
4. Once you’re done, let it dry at least 24 hours (or see directions of your paint) and have lots of fun with your pillow

Merry Christmas ♥
