Layouts, Photography and other Random Updates

Good Morning Ladies :) Today I have quiet a bit to share (CAUTION: lots of images = long post) ;)

First off I want to post a layout I did for BlueMoonScrapbooking! I’m loving the soft colors of the Webster’s Pages Paper in combination with the SC Stars and some Prima flowers! And of course the date stamp by Dear Lizzy!! Little secret… I hate that both date stamps (Dear Lizzy and Smash) have the little images on the side! They always smudge and I’m a little perfectionist when it comes to these things. So what I did to get rid of it… I just got RID of it ;) I used my exacter knife and just cut off that one part of the stamps and now I simply got a nice date stamp!

Next is a mini album page for Crate Paper! I really love this project that I’m working on right now (the Summer 2012 Mini Album) It’s fun to add page after page! And YES, I haven’t punched the holes yet, but I will. Probably 3 on the left side and use some Book RIngs to hold it all together :)

By the way, you can enter to win a box filled with YELLOW goodies over at Crate :) Go and give it a shot :)

Next on the Menu is a Wedding I wanted to share with you! On Saturday a week ago I was able to go shoot a Wedding with the ever so talented Jihan Cerda! It was GREAT to work with her as well as learning from a seasoned pro :) I’m so grateful there are photographers out there, that help out than putting you down :D

If you like you are welcome to check out the entire Wedding on my other blog :) (and I’d love to hear what you think about it :) )

Lastly I would like to talk a little about Design Teams ;) For starters, American Crafts is assembling a new team for 2012/2013!! I gave it a shot last year (without really thinking they would actually take me….) and I had an amazing year with them!! It’s worth it – give it a shot!

And to finish this post off I’d like to give you a little sneak of what’s coming tomorrow….. I will be posting a DT Call for the next term of SGD DT Girls :D Yes, this term is almost over and I will be looking for a few new talented ladies that would love to play with my stamps in the upcoming months :D

One last thing – there are two packs left from the fleamarket. If you are interested here’s the link :)

Well, until then…. Happy Scrappin’ :D

Quotes Journal

When I got my assignment from sweet Paige Evans for this month’s AC Blog Project, I was thrilled! I quickly knew what I would do: another Journal! This time just and only for Quotes! I have so many that I love, but forget after a day or two of discovery, just because I have a fartbrained head and don’t write them down ;)

So here we go. Another Journal ;)

I loved using the newest line by Elizabeth Kartchner. To make it even more feminine I decided to sew on some cute lace on the cover – loooove the effect!!

Hope you feel inspired to capture YOUR favorite quotes :D It’s totally worth the effort ;)

AC + Scor Pal = Fun Blog Hop

Hi Hoppers ;) I hope you’ve been enjoying the hop and are finding lots of inspiration on all the Blogs you’ve visited so far :D

I’ve got a little project for you too. With the Scor Pal I was able to very easily make a little tri-fold greeting card. Usually I only make ‘normal’ cards.. Why? Cause I’m too lazy to calculate where to fold the paper to get something a little more special – like a tri-fold card…. Yeah, laziness once again ;) heee

However, the Scor Pal is really awesome in that way! It has little markings for all kinds of projects which means – no math! Yay!

I hope you have a wonderful day today! Your next stop on the hop is Tami Mayberry!

I just realized that AC posted one of my pages a few days ago :) And of course I better share that right away, or I will forget about it… dumdeedum… ;)

If you haven’t had the chance to get your fingers on the new Dear Lizzy Collection…. Well… I can only say: GO GET IT!! (especially if you love soft colors) I am so in love with it! Totally my style and colors – perfectly for spring :D

By the way, if you like to create Lists, you better check out the AC Blog, as they are giving away a whole lot of fun embellishments to keep track of lists!! You’ve got time until the 16th :)

Dream BIG and follow your heart :D

NOW in more than one way

Living in the NOW has always been kinda hard for me. I always have plans, ideas, dreams and so on and that is usually where my head is. But the last few days I feel like I am really becoming alive. Those plans and dreams might not be that far in the future as I have always thought…?

Since last night I am reading this book. I’ve never read a book of the ‘Dummies’ Series, but I am sold! Seriously, if you are thinking of – now let’s see if I get the next word right – entrepreneurship, then spend those 15 bucks on your career! I’m half through and I have learned so many things, and not only about business, but also about myself. Interesting. Exciting. New.

And since we are already talking about now, I have a layout to share with the title NOW ;) That now was from a few weeks ago, when I was working on a few projects, listening to Christmas Music and sipping some homemade milk-iced tea out of a Starbucks cup ;)

Wishing you a great great weekend!!

Happy Scrappin’ :D
