How-To Stars

Lots of you have asked how to make these stars I have been showing several times in the last few days. Well, it’s actually a super easy techniqye icon wink How To Stars

I had a whole paper with star cut outs that I have made with my Silhouette some time ago. So I basically just used this paper as pattern (as I had about 4 different sizes on it)

With a pen trace them onto your cardstock and then cut them out with your exacter knife and a ruler! That way you get perfectly straight lines.

Now simply take a few little paper scraps and hot glue them (or use 3D Adhesive) to the back of your cardstock and you are good to rock and roll icon wink How To Stars

This was my very first experiment with these stars. You can see, the star furthest up is not perfectly straight, as I cut it out without the ruler.

Cut out a shape from the background paper and glue some patterned paper to the back to create this 3D effect icon biggrin Elles Studio Kit & Layout Love it!! I used it here as well…..

Some time ago Adrian’s brother Daniel, his wife Yessica, my lovely husband Adrian and I went to Mosslanding and did some kayaking! It was my very first time and it was so much fun! Anyways. I made this layout about that day for Elle’s Studio. What I love about her tags a lot is that they are not all in your face, but make really great additions to any craft project. I’ve made this Layout a few weeks back about my lovely birds on the Christmas Tree. Don’t worry, the tree is gone long ago, but I had to do a page about them as they were kinda the focal point of my decorations…

As you can see I did my Glitter Splatter Technique and used some of my new Stamps icon biggrin Elles Studio Layout I love the embossed snowflakes… lalaaa icon wink Elles Studio Layout

Elle from Elle’s Studio really does an amazing job with her tags! They are super versatile and you can snip & snap them to shape. My favorite thing with them is to crunch them a bit and then distress them to give some texture.
