Today, Janna, Lilith and Nina are sharing another load of phenomenal inspiration with you!! The assignment was, to create something around the phrase “A Day in December”

A few words from Janna:
This was a fun layout to create. I really wanted to make a fun long title and mixed up parts of the Happy Mail stamps with some letter stickers. I have a little trick for only using part of a stamp. Cover the part you don’t want to use with some washi tape. Apply ink onto the stamp. Remove the washi tape and stamp! This enables you to use your stamps in even more ways. Another technique I used was to ink the HAPPY stamp once and stamp it several times without applying more ink. It creates an ombre effect.
A few words from NIna:
I scrapped a photo from last December of my husband and daughter. So much has happened since then and I wrote a bit about all that in the journaling. I used the December month stamp from the Merry Christmas stamp set as well as a couple of my favourite stamps from the Captured stamp set with a navy ink to match the wintery colour scheme.
