It’s about time I showed you guys another layout, huh 
I made this page about Dexter, when we just got him. At that time he was about seven weeks old and boy, has he grown since then!! Just today he’s learned to jump on the counter top in the kitchen! I haven’t seen him doing it yet, but he’s been up there several times. Also he loves to sit on the windows sill and watch the cars outside He’s a crazy little cutsie pie!

Just wanted you to know that here in Finland the proper time to give kittens away is in 12 weeks’ age. I think it can be applied universally, of course. But anyways, I don’t know the circumstances for you getting him, so I will say no more. You seem to make good parents for him so I hope all the good to you all! I have a cat myself so I just wanted to express my thoughts.

i just checked on wikipedia since your thoughts really woke my interest. they say they give kittens away between 6 and 8 weeks, but breeders wait til 12 weeks. i also checked the weeks on our cat (the breeder said he was 7 weeks old) and i found out he was a week older than that. however, just wanted to share that with you

We have always given our kittens away in 12 weeks age and that has seemed like the proper time. Although I have always felt they are too small to give away, mainly because I don’t want to give them away. 
Now when we got our kitten from a breeder (spesific breed because of allergies) I thought she was sooo big already. 
It’s so hard to wait…
