Goodness, I haven’t blogged since…. Yeah, I can’t even remember the last time I posted something… bad bad girl! The reason for it? Well, my mojo was gone (once again) and I had no energy at all to do anything at all! Seriously, I felt like sleeping right after I woke up in the morning. The only thing I wanted to do was to read my favorite book, perfectly snuggled up in my bed… And drink a lot of hot chocolate
Anywho, on Thursday Adrian had one of the best surprises ready for me: after my bible study class we went down to San Luis Obispo – on HWY 1
It was awesome! The weather wasn’t great here in Gilroy when we left, in fact it was raining from time to time. But once we passed Big Sur the weather got better and better with every minute we were on the road. We saw beautiful landscapes, calm waters and guess what!! We even saw hundreds and hundreds of Elephant Seals!! They were laying on the beach, moms with their babies and even a couple males with their huge nose! Even tough they aren’t really cute (not even the youngsters…) they were extremly fascinating!!
San Luis Obispo Downtown was awesome at night. On Thursday they have a vivid farmers market with live bands and lots of fresh and BBQed food.
Then after we went to watch True Grid with Matt Damon we checked in to our hotel, a beautiful Best Western at Pismo Beach! Oh my gosh, it was so beautiful! Since the hotel was running very slow they even upgrated us and we got a 529 Dollar room, with stunning ocean view! AWESOME! Aparently the beds weren’t very compfy and so I woke up very early in the morning. I am so so so glad I did, because I got some beautiful shots, right from our balcony!!
After that, it was only about 8 in the morning or so, we went to get our complimentary breakfast
Yum, it was so so good! Fresh waffles, hard boiled eggs, muffins and tasty juice
Then we left that wonderful hotel and decided to go to Pismo Beach and walked around a little. We visited the pier and watched surfers.
After all that we went to San Luis Obispo and Adrian showed me Cal Poly and we drove around for some house hunting and exploring – something we looove to do together! I have to note here, that Adrian and his brother Daniel went to college at SLO some time ago, so it is kinda his second home. He also showed me once again where he lived at that time and we even saw Mrs.B, the landlord
Yes, that was about what we did during the last couple days
Hope to share some layouts soon
