It happens to me all the time, my mojo goes on a holiday and I can sit in front of a layout for hours and nothing goes right. I get frustrated and am not good company for anybody, including myself
Do you know that feeling…?? Well, I had that once again on Friday, since I was just sick and tired of scrapbooking, but really wanted to get that one layout done. Well, it didn’t get done. It was sitting on my super-dirty (mainly little scraps and loooots of dust) desk until today. To get myself into the right mood I have to clean up. At least I know already how to get my mojo back
(it just doesn’t like to live in a dirty house……
) heeheee So I cleanded the whole appartment (since it was really time to do that job…) and then after lunch I decided that my desk really needed to be cleaned too. It really felt good! It is such a quick thing to do, but after that I was sitting infront of that one layout and it just came to me! I was so surprised
Another way to get myself into the right inspired mood is to take out my favorite papers or alpha stickers and just have that possibility right next to me. The funy thing is, that usually I am not even using those things
But they really inspire me
heeheeee
Hope you feel inspired for some crafty projects
Happy Scrapin’

Don’t worry Rahel I get like that too…it is frustrating but a bit of house work always seems to work for me too as I know what has to be done when it comes to house work and if a layout is just not working for me then half the time is just lost, so it feels like its taking control….whereas I’m in control of the house work (and the volume knob on the CD Player)…hahaha…Other days my Scrap side takes over and no house work gets done….Ooooops!!!
Anyhow keep scrappin’ Em xo
hi rahel!
i finally had time to do a layout using your beautiful stamps (road trip set). i sent you an email (menigfamily@yahoo.com), but also posted it on my newly created blog, where I intend to publish my work. i’m waiting for your visit
i hope you like them!
xoxo,
rafa!
I am just jealous you have a scrap area to work in, my scrapbook stuff is crammed in the closet and everytime i want to use it i have to drag it out onto the kitchen counter.
Hi Rahel
Our mojo must be related….it also doesn’t like living in a messy dirty house!!!
Hey Rafa,
