…that I was freaking out when this box arrived!

Just yesterday Adrian and I were talking about the last five years. I told him of the times when I was almost going to break up with him, but I never did. He told me, that he had those times too. But somehow he just sticked with me. He told me about all the phases I went through, from a total nature girl that didn’t care what other people thought, to a girl that started to use make up and said totally surprised “you know what? I think I look better with a little bit of something on!” I still remember when he was laughing on the phone and said, that this was the purpose of make up…. Yeah, I still remember all those lonely years, when I was waiting for him to come back to Switzerland and stayed up late to be able to talk to him on skype. He told me that he was sometimes scared when I changed again. I changed all the times! I remember when my sister and I went to the shoestore and I bought my very first leather boots. I walked around with them in the house, but never went outside. A few days later I returned them and have never bought boots again. At least not nice boots..

Just a couple of months ago I got all serious about scrapbooking. I remember, that I always wanted to be a photographer. I still love photography and I would love to do a wedding from time to time, but I would not want to work full time as that. Then I was interested in sewing. That lasted exactly until the darn machine broke. I got all frustrated and was crying all day long, because I didn’t know what I should do with myself. I felt all purpose less and that was not a good feeling. And then I started with my stamps. Just a few months ago. But those months have been the best time in my life. Okay, add the wedding to that amount   I was able to get to know so many wonderful people. It makes me so happy, to share my talent with other people. Even tough sometimes I am all blocked and can’t create not one little thing. But that goes with it.

And now the next stamp collection is coming out very soon! Isn’t that crazy? I never thought, that I would ever design my own stamps! And now it’s already going to be the second time, when my stamps are hitting the market I am so excited for the future! What will happen in six months? A year? Or even five years from now? I can’t wait to be able look back, to the time when I started my business and and say “I still remember…”
