So this mini is/was for the road trip down to San Diego…. Haven’t have time to finish it yet….

Just discovered your work through Blue Moon and can’t wait to see more. Love your description of your trip across America. Note on papers–when they don’t play nicely together, you could try demoting some–use ledger paper to mat the date–there won’t be so much of it. Then add 1/4″ solid mat to separate it from background. Use brown for main background and text for square or circle shapes under other page elements. I find that letting one paper shine and using others for small accents helps them get along.
