Road Trip and Stamps

Our 1-day Road Trip on Friday was a blast! It was so good to drive 400 miles and enjoy each other while we were singing and laughing in the car! California is such a beautiful and stunning state! I have been in Santa Barbara a year ago but never more northern than San Francisco.. I was absolutley amazed, how beautiful the landscapes are and how you really feel the ‘wild wild west’ up there!

Today I have been working all day long on my new Clear Stamp Collections! Yes, after a long back and forth in my mind Adrian has finally convinced me to do it! We will start small and I am designing four brand new collections, but there are already more designs around, that hopefully will come out later on in fall sometimes. I am very very excited and I can’t wait to start stamping with those stamps icon biggrin Road Trip and Stamps

I don’t want to show you the collections already, but for the fourth collection I wanted to involve you a little! Lately I have been doing some splashes and splatters and played around with them a little. I always thought, that those trahsy designs would look very cool on layouts. As far as I know Tim Holtz has brought out one Stamp set with splashes on. Here a little sneak peak, how it would look like….

Now, would you buy such a stamp set or would you not?? What do you think?? Please leave me a comment here on this post! I would love to know what you think about this idea!! icon biggrin Road Trip and Stamps

By the way, have you seen the two new Pages here, Gallery and Custom Made??

  1. I think that it looks gr8 on layouts, but you could do something like that without those stamps… you could just use a glass and paintbrush… I really don’t wont to criticize you… I really love you ideas and layouts… but I’m not sure just about this one…. but it could be just my opinnion

    (sorry for my english… I know it’s bad….)

    Love,

  2. what amazing pictures!!! I really hope I will see that state in my au pairs year, too :)
Your stamps are great and I would buy it. I think you could make cool effects on your layout without making a mess and it is faster than using your glass or brush.

  3. Hi

I love it!!! I love grunge stamping and especially LOVE the coffee cup stain. I would have to say…yes, yes, yes…if it were within my reach, I would definitely want to get my hands on the stamps :)

    Great job!!

  4. I love the idea, especially because I like to repeat patterns, like when I’m making a lot of cards or stationary and splatter and other odd patterns are good because they are different. I’m starting to get bored of the same old organized polk-a-dots. So, yes, YAY to splatter! :)

  5. I looovvvee the splash stamps! I’m the same way.. not wanting to wait until something dries. I’m not too good with distressing with paint and such, so these would be great. Even if they’re used with paint, it’s much easier to have a cute stamp set to help you along the way rather than doing it yourself.. Great idea for a set!!
